Getting CPD Points

Maintain your legal qualifications with accredited online novacourses that offer high quality, cost effective training, that saves you time and money – and earn you CPD credit.

Each online novacourses includes interactive sessions, interactive examinations, downloadable files (which may include transcripts, slides, articles and/or Podcasts) and features:

  1. Start, stop, pause, forward and rewind functions
  2. Suspend functions – that enable you to stop a session, then later return to the point you left
  3. Assessment facilities that let you assess your knowledge and gain certificates of completion.

How do I get CPD points?

System Compatibility Test: Before enrolling in a CPD course, you may want to ensure the compatibility of your computer software by enrolling in a free sample novacourse (that you can find in the Novacourses Free Courses catalog).

Once you've tested your system and encounter no problems you can then get your CPD points. Here's how:

  1. Enroll in a (CPD) novacourse.
  2. Review the course and the course materials
  3. Take the associated final exam
  4. Complete the evaluation.

Accreditation reports will be sent to the Hong Kong Law Society free of charge at the beginning of each month.

Two ways to get CPD credit with novacourses

Novacourses allows you to obtain CPD points either through online, interactive courseware, through downloaded files, or both.

Method 1:
The former - online, interactive courseware - is the preferred way is to get your CPD points.

However, should you be unable to access online novacourses courseware because you have encountered technical restrictions on your system, you can download course materials, take the required final exam, complete the evaluation and obtain your CPD credits.
