GeneralWhat are learning objects, learning modules, online modules and learning programs?
Courseware (i.e. 'novacourses') on Novacourses.com is sometimes referred to as ‘Learning Objects.’
Individual novacourses or mini-novacourses are sometimes referred to as ‘Online Modules’ while a collection of ‘online modules’ comprises a ‘learning program.’
Why does the system tell me no learning objects were found?
To ensure that Novacourses offers only high-quality courseware, novacourses are regularly archived if, for example, their content becomes obsolete. As a result, there may not be courseware in some subject areas at a particular moment and the system may return a ‘No Learning Objects were found. Please try different search criteria’ message.
Operational issues
There is no sound. What should I do?
First, be sure that 1) your Internet connection is working and 2) you have turned on the volume settings on your machine. Sometimes shutting down a computer then restarting it solves the problem.
If that does not work, there may be a problem with your machine or device.
A window opens but no courseware loads. What should I do?

- Access-related or
- Java-related issues
Internet connection-related issues
Should your novacourse be slow in loading you may be experiencing a bad network connection. Please be patient, the novacourseshould load within one to two minutes.
In the mean time, kindly ensure that your Internet connection is working properly.
Browser-related issues
Sometimes, closing then restarting the browser solves the problem.
Flash Player-related issues
If your novacourse fails to launch the first time, close the course window, then launch the course again (by clicking the Launch this Now button).
Should the course again fail to launch, it is possible that you do not have Flash Player (or the proper version of Flash) installed. Please click here to download the latest Flash player.
Access-related issues
